Oh Po! You just melt my heart you big ole’ cuddle bear! 🙂 Handsome and adorable…that’s Po!
He’s actually getting along very well! Yes, it takes a lot of effort to adjust to three, especially when you’re a big boy, but he’s definitely figuring things out. Be sure and give him lots of massages up and down his back, around his shoulder and neck to keep those muscles from getting sore and tightening up.
I think I recall from the forums that you were checking into Rehab? They’ll help you develop good ways to build Po’s “core” muscle strength. He already looks like he his using his tummy muscles when he lays down. He lays with focus and deliberation.
I had to chuckle. He uses thst big cuddly head of his to help.propel himself forward. Smart Po! 🙂
HAPPY ONE MKNTH AMPUVERSARY SWEET PO!! 🙂 🙂 Yiu did get some stake and ice cream, right? This calls for steak and ice xream! 🙂
Hugs
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
no rehab 🙁 it is too far from where I live. 4hours round trip. This means a day off work. I have had to take so many already 🙁 I do massage his legs and back. I do hope it helps
His favorite food is pizza 🙂 His stomach is sensitive so i do have to be careful
Hoppy Ampuversary Po. Still early in recovery and he looks good. You can do some things at home like walking across couch cushions that might help his core. (I am no vet) I just did a few things like that with Sassy to help. Also check into the book online Loving life on 3 legs. I think there are some ideas and helpful hints in there too
This is a link that may, or may not be helpful as far as doing a couple of things at home with Po. It’s old, so may not be up to date. It has a lot of links contained in it so, hopefully, you can find something helpful.
I’m THE keast techie person in the planet, sonhipe it works.
Po and Pizza! Not the best thing for a sensitive tummy, thats for sure! Leave it to Po to pick that as his favorite food!! 🙂 🙂
Keep in improving Po….slooooowly but surely!! Big dogs determine their own pace and he seems to be doing a good job of doing that! Well, with a little monitoring and some boundaries frim his hooman! 🙂
